Additionally, customers can purchase essential accessories like cases, screen protectors, chargers, and memory cards, alongside consumer electronics covering audio products, home automation, and networking equipment. Supporting these wireless services are device repair and replacement options, plus a Trade-In program for pre-owned equipment. Through its TDS Telecom segment, the company delivers robust internet connectivity, including whole-home Wi-Fi solutions, and TDS TV+, its cloud-based platform for video entertainment. Furthermore, TDS offers traditional local and long-distance phone services, Voice over IP (VoIP), and a suite of enhanced telephony features. For businesses, it provides advanced broadband and IP-based services, along with hosted voice and video collaboration tools. TDS reaches its customer base through a multifaceted distribution strategy, utilizing retail stores, direct and indirect sales channels, third-party retailers, and independent agents. Online sales via e-commerce and telesales also play a significant role. As of December 31, 2021, TDS served a substantial customer base, with approximately 5 million wireless connections and 1.2 million wireline and cable connections.
